Comments: This one is a tad obscene. It’s a good thing the chicken is dead already or bullet point step 3 would surely kill it.
Ingredients
- 5-7 pound Perdue chicken roaster
- Spices (best to get a mix of your choice)
- Half a can of beer
Directions
- Prep the chicken as you would if roasting in the oven (rinse, remove giblets, pat dry with paper towels)
- Rub spices on the outside of the chicken, top and bottom
- Insert beer can inside the chicken, apologizing as you go
- Cook vertically at 350 on the grill, propping the chicken up
- Watch for cooking indicator to pop out (2-2.5 hours)
- Remove can, tent with foil for 10 min. to let juices gather
