Chick Fark-A Nuggets

Chicken, Entree

Comments: Three keys to success: Cut the chicken in precisely 1″ chunks, heat the oil to exactly 375 degrees, and cook for precisely 3 minutes. Also, there are recipes online for the “real” sauce or you can use a bottle of your fave. All of the taste. None of the homophobia.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breast cut into 1″ chunks
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cups Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 3 inches of peanut oil in a Dutch Oven

Directions

  1. Mix milk and eggs in a ziplock bag or bowl. Add chicken. Let soak for 15-20 min in fridge.
  2. Heat oil to 375 degrees.
  3. Whisk breadcrumbs, flour, powdered sugar, Kosher salt, white pepper, and chili powder.
  4. Dredge chicken. Let dry for a few minutes. Cook for precisely 3 min.
  5. Do NOT let dry on paper towels. It will soften the nuggets.
