Comments: Oh, baby, baby. This one is a keeper. Anyone can buy crab rangoons, but not everyone can make it themselves.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese: softened
- 1 can crab meat- pressed and very dry
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp onion power
- 1/2 tsp crush garlic
- Dash of Worchestire sauce
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- Vegetable or canola oil (used is better)
Directions
- Heat bottle of oil in large pot (for deep frying)
- Combine cream cheese, crab meat, ginger, onion powder, garlic, and Worcestershire Sauce in a small bowl with hand mixer.
- In a small bowl combine a little bit of cornstarch in water (this is used to seal wrappers)
- Place small amount of filling in the middle of the wonton wrapper. Fold in shape of triangle sealing edges with cornstarch mixture. Fold wrappers like and envelope.
- Place rangoons in hot oil for about 2 mins each (or until outside is golden brown.) Place cooked rangoons on cookie sheet lined with paper towels to extract excess oil.
- Serve with duck sauce.
