Comments: We are drastically reducing the amount of red meat served at 280 High Street, but when we do indulge, it is something like steak tips and I found this recipe somewhere to use as a marinade.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup veg. oil
- 2 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 Teaspoon gond cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 Bay leaf, crumbled
- 2 pounds of steak tips
Directions
- Throw it all in a blender
- Beat it (just beat it) for 30 seconds
- Pour over steak tips
