Comments: This was my mom’s recipe. It is to be served on a cold Sunday along with rolls or, preferably, corn muffins. Mom’s measuring was done by taste, so asking her, “How much should I use?” typically resulted in the answer, “Just enough.” Good luck.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup wine
- 2 lbs beef chunks
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 3 onions cut into chunks
- 1 pkg. Frozen Italian green beans
- 6 carrots cut a bit
- 4 potatoes cut small
- 3 Tbsp, Minute tapioca
- 2 slices bread decrusted and cubed
- 1 tsp salt & pepper
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- Marjoram, thyme, and rosemary. How much? Who knows?
Directions
Turn crock pot on high for about 15 min adding all ingredients one at a time.
Tapioca is for thickening- you can leave it out
Those herbs really go along the way of flavoring.
